Veteran synth guru Steve Moore, known as a solo artist whose work ranges from the dance floor minimal techno and disco tracks to cinematic film scores as well as half of the legendary instrumental prog duo Zombi, remixes MirrorBoxx's "Human Futures Trader."

Moore says, "For the MirrorBoxx remix, my goal was simply to put my spin on the ideas and themes that were already there. I started by re-tracking the bassline and programming my own percussion, then added layers of synths to accompany the original tracks. The song already had a sense of drama and urgency, and I tried to accentuate that."

The title of this track refers to a particularly dystopian facet of our modern capitalist surveillance state in which mass personal data collection has turned everything from what we might have for dinner next week to humanity’s ability to survive coming existential threats into market commodities. The Steve Moore Remix of MirrorBoxx’ “Human Future Trader” perfectly encapsulates the mechanics and looming menace of this phenomenon.
